Texas Monthly Erects Paywall, Expands Award-Winning Journalism
Starting this week, the outlet will begin a gradual rollout of the $1 a month metered paywall that takes effect after a user has read two stories on the site. Texas Monthly estimates that one-third of its website readers are not subscribers.
