Walker, Chairman of Walker Communications, will discuss the benefits of custom research as opposed to syndicated research; the types of custom studies publishers can and should undertake including advertising, editorial, web and market studies; the pros and cons of in-house custom studies as opposed to outsourced custom studies; and, most importantly, how to conduct your own in-house studies. Mr. Walker's webinar will include a discussion of online vs. direct mail studies; the use of reader panels; email newsletter lists, opt-in subscriber email addresses etc. He will also address online survey software requirements and other technical online survey issues including survey methodologies, the do's and don't's of questionnaire construction, report tabulation, and what you have to know about projectability and sample sizes. To bring all of this to life, Mr. Walker will also show examples of some of the different online studies that can be conducted including reader studies subscriber surveys, editorial surveys, cover testing, advertising engagement studies, web visitor studies, pre-post web studies, market studies, added value studies etc. and will be glad to answer any questions that may arise.
